The Blank
Park Zoo is situated in the middle region of Des Moines and is spread across 25
acres of land area. The zoo opened its gates for the general public back in
1966 and has been renowned to preserve natural wildlife, flora, and fauna of the

sections of the zoo- Free Range Aviary and the Meredith Alpine Exhibit. The zoo

Established
in 1923, it is one of the most primitive state-owned parks in Iowa. Around the

Register of Historic Places of the United States. There is an old observation
tower and a vast picnic area. The area has a special zone open for hunting,
climbing, mountain biking, and strolling.
The State
Capitol Building of Iowa is known to be the greatest landmark and symbol of the
